Baseball star also fishes for high school bass team

Central star picks Kent State as part of baseball future

MARTINSBURG — Hunter Klotz wears many hats at Central High School representing the Scarlet Dragons in football, basketball, fishing and baseball, but Wednesday at the Bistro at the Village Green, Klotz decided which cap he’ll be wearing in the future.

The multi-talented senior signed to play baseball at Division I Kent State, a school he’s been verbally committed to for nearly two years.

“I verbally committed at the end of my sophomore year, because it felt like home,” Klotz said. “The coaching staff there has been great. They have a great baseball program. It’s a real good baseball school, and they win a lot. Hopefully, I’m going to the big dance someday.”Full Story
