Lenoir City High bass team ready for second half of season

LCHS fishing teams ready to hit the water

With the turn of the new year and a slow increase in temperatures, the Lenoir City High School Bass Club is getting set to start the second half of the 2020-21 season.

Despite the conclusion of the fall season in November, anglers have continued to squeeze in as much practice as possible on area lakes.

“I’ve been in able to get in a little bit of preseason practice,” John Thompson, LCHS senior, said. “I’ve been able to go look around our first tournament spot because we’ll be going down to Nickajack (Lake) for our first one back for the spring season. I’ve been able to go there once so far and see what’s really going on before we get down there and get to practice right before the tournament…Full Story
