Tennessee B.A.S.S. High School Trail opens season

Robinson and Bryant win TN B.A.S.S. High School Trail Season Opener

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) – A record 93 teams representing 21 different High Schools competed in the TN B.A.S.S. High School Trail Season Opener this weekend on Nickajack Lake.

The Sequoyah High School team of Garick Robinson and Micah Bryant topped the field to take win with four bass weighing 12.46 lbs.

Finishing in a close second was the duo of Austin Birdwell and Hunter Christian from Grundy County with five fish weighing 12.37 pounds.

Big bass of the tournament was caught by Jacob Woods and Austin Winter representing Lenoir City High School with a nice 5.61 lb. largemouth.

Total payout in this event was over $5000 in scholarships and prizes

If you’re not fishing the Tennessee Bass Nation High School Trail you’re missing out on lots of chances to win.
